Hex mage offers a way to debuff the hell out of your enemies (all 5 elemental hexes and an associated debuff with each - sapped, slow down, poison, burning, and one other that I can't recall) while also dealing all 5 elemental damage types at once. You will want to get any source of ethereal damage buffs because rune mage's most powerful damage spells (runic trap and runic great blade) use ethereal damage. Runic trap is especially strong for its impact damage. Prep the green rune, then run in front of an enemy and place the red rune. Hex mage is really fun. For breakthrough skills i recommend getting the cabal hermit, since you wanna be doing alot of elemental damage boosting all your boons is very strong. The third breakthrough is less obvious, i went with philosopher for a chakram build. For gear, you want the rainbow hex enchant on your weapon. Hex mage and cabal hermit will give you solid elemental damage bonuses for all damage types, so you can easily transition to another elemental weapon later in the game (butcher cleaver, scepter of the cruel priest). You can also stack wind and fire sigils for huge burst dps using spark against tougher enemies.Thanks for watching!
